The historic buildings and student life at the GWC location have been reinvigorated by the return of traditional first-year students, starting in fall 2012. This represented the GWC's location first class of traditional undergraduate students since George Williams College merged with Aurora University. The buildings that were once used for camp have been given new purpose for academic and Conference Center use with the evolution from camp to campus.
