Approved Licensure Programs

Aurora University has initial teacher licensure programs approved by the Illinois State Board of Education in early childhood special education, elementary education, biology, chemistry, English, mathematics, social studies, physical education, and special education offered through the School of Education. Post-MSW Illinois Professional Educator’s License with School Social Work endorsement is offered through the School of Social Work. Courses supporting the Principal endorsement credential are offered through the School of Education.
